In this episode of Lore & Legend, the research of Sara Pearl allows us to explore the history of the Harrington family, the alleged origins of its heraldic crest (the Harrington Knot), and their claim to have killed the Last Wolf in England. Rick recites a ballad-style version of the legend published in Soulby’s Ulverston Advertiser and General Intelligencer in Lancashire in April 1853.
